Design of Handmade Jewelry in Silver and Gold

My New Ancient Judaean Coin Ring

Christmas sales have ended and a new year has begun….. Did you hear my sigh of relief?

As a matter of fact, Christmas sales were fun. Customers were ordering handmade jewelry gifts and I worked for many long hours to finish orders and ship them in time before Christmas. Thinking about it, it was rather enjoyable really, But there was no time to design  and create some new stuff

Now it is a fresh new year, and it is time to create new jewelry items. I decided to begin with a One of a Kind ancient coin ring. I searched my box of coins and found an authentic ancient “prutah” copper coin which I have purchased from a certified coin seller not very long ago . The coin is 0.7″ (22mm) across and was struck between the years  66-70AD during the first Judaean revolt against the Roman conquerors.

I set this coin in a sterling silver ring which I designed for this purpose. The image on the coin is  of a vine leaf which is a symbol of happiness. The ring size is 6.90.

The official sterling silver sign and my personal signature are stamped on the inside of the ring.

As I love setting my coins in my jewelry items, I set them mainly  in necklaces and rings. They will all be One of a Kind items, as they are all authentic coins, and no two ancient coins are the very same.

Certificate of authenticity of the coin will be attached.

Thank you for watching!

A Happy New Year to you all!
