AUTUMN – ROMANTIC TIME OF THE YEAR

The damp hot sticky summer is finally and reluctantly saying goodbye to us, and it  is clearing the way to the romantic, colorful Autumn.

Many people are saddened this time of the year. Many songs have been written about breaking up love affairs and grey skies and more..but to me Autumn is somehow a symbol for new beginnings.

Perhaps this is why I become more creative these days, rather than other times of the year.

Australian Boulder Opal Sterling Silver Ring

I hand crafted this ring from sterling silver and a free form Koroit Opal cabchon. The various shapes on the base of the ring were designed  by me and cast..

The stone size is 18mm x 25mm x 5mm.

The stone is polished to have a glassy finish.

This stone is very solid and has very nice opal in dark brown ironstone matrix.
